What’s this on the floor? A plastic bottle near the shore. Someone must have thrown it away, Maybe on the beach having a play.
Watch now as the waves come in, Looks like the bottle is going for a swim.
Away on the tide the bottle bobs, To join an even larger rubbish mob. Floating islands of trash, No room for fish to splash.
Plastic should not be in their home, The ocean should be clean and free to roam
Never throw bottles on the ground, Let’s turn this story right around. Take your bottles to recycling bins, Your faces will be full of grins!
Plastic can then make something new A jacket, a bag or a big canoe!
Now let’s all spread the word, To save our fish, animals and birds. Knowing what your actions are worth, We can all help save our Planet Earth!
