It's time to start, so here we go. Earth Cubs. Earth Cubs. Earth Cubs. Earth Cubs. Welcome to Earth Cubs.
Bugs, bugs, ladybugs. Some wear boots, some wear rugs. Bugs, bugs, ladybugs. Saving plants from greedy bugs.
Ladybugs are garden stars. Chomping pests from near and far. They eat the bugs that hurt our leaves. Keeping plants so proud and pleased.
Bugs, bugs, ladybugs. Some wear boots, some wear rugs. Bugs, bugs, ladybugs. Saving plants from greedy bugs.
Red with spots or maybe black. Some wear orange on their back. Wings so light, they fly away. Back to help another day.

Hi, Earth Cubs. Frankie the Fox here, and today we are talking about some of the loveliest bugs around, ladybugs. Hello. Ladybugs aren't just cute little beetles with spots on. They are nature's tiny superheroes. Ba, ba, ba, ba. Now, aphids are a tiny insect that loves to eat flowers, plants, and our crops, and that is not cool. However, ladybugs love to eat aphids. Yes, I do. Ladybugs live in gardens, fields, trees, and you might even spot one on your windowsill. And here's something amazing. When ladybugs fly, they flap their little wings up to 85 times a second. So next time you see a ladybug, give it a little wave. Hello. It might just be helping your garden.
Wilfred Walrus here with some lovely news. Scientists in the UK have been using ladybugs to protect organic farms. Ladybugs protect plants and crops so they don't have to use nasty chemicals. The problem is a tiny insect called aphids. Now, these hungry little chaps love to eat plants and crops. So a cool and safe solution is ladybugs. Ladybugs are released into the greenhouses and boom, the aphids are gone. No sprays, no waste, just nature doing what it does best. So three cheers for the lovely ladybugs, the world's smallest natural pest control. Squawk, squawk, squawk.
Joke alert. What did the ladybug say when it flew into a salad? "Lettuce be friends." Why don't ladybugs play hide and seek? Because they always get spotted. What do you call a ladybug on the phone? A bug in the system.
