Inspiring kids to learn and love the world is more than just content - we must do what we can to connect them to nature. One of the important ways that we do this is through partnerships:

Storytelling - connect our Earth Cubs to real world action through storytelling from our amazing planet-saving partners like Ocean Generation and Fairtrade Foundation.
Experiences - support real outdoor connections through schools and wonderful partners like Outdoor Classroom Day.
Protection - connect our Earth Cubs to real positive action as reward for their learning - through the amazing Rainforest Trust UK, we protect the rainforests of the world as our Earth Cubs learn in our app.

Gaming that saves the planet!

As kids play the Earth Cubs app, they earn digital badges that protect real trees in the real world. We’ve only just started our journey with Rainforest Trust UK but we’ve delighted to have already protected 63 acres of threatened rainforest for endangered species. That’s over 60 football pitches!

What’s even more incredible, is that 100% of our donation to Rainforest Trust UK is spent directly on conservation action. We are truly helping young children to protect the planet as they learn!

Why tree protection?

At Earth Cubs we believe in not only planting new trees to help with the climate crisis, but also protecting the trees and forests we already have.

Trees take a long time to grow so a baby tree is unable to store large amounts of carbon for many years
A young tree won’t support the biodiversity and wildlife habitats of endangered species and other creatures
Trees need a lot of support to grow to full maturity - you can’t just plant them and leave.

By protecting what we already have we look after incredible ecosystems as well as keeping all that carbon stored away.
