Come el Arcoíris

Yeehaw. I love eating good food. Stay tuned to find out why food helps you see in the dark. Is it a hot dog or is it a carrot? Hey, who turned out the lights?
Hey, Earth Cubs. It's me, Frankie the Fox. Today, we're talking about something super colorful, super tasty, and super good for you. It's time to eat the rainbow. Ah, ah, ah, ah. No, not a real rainbow. We mean colorful, fresh, healthy food. Mm, yummy.
When your plate is full of colors, your body gets all the things it needs to feel awesome. Red, like tomatoes and strawberries, help your heart stay strong. Orange, like carrots, help your eyes see in the dark. Green, like broccoli and spinach, give you power. Wow. Helps you grow. Blues and purples, like blueberries and grapes, are great for your brain. And don't forget yellow. Bananas give you energy for running, jumping, and dancing like this.
Every color does something special. So when you eat lots of different colors, you're giving your body a big boost. This is my fifth banana of the day and I feel fantastic.
It's not just about being healthy. It's about feeling great, having the energy to play all day, being able to concentrate and learn cool stuff, getting strong, staying happy, and even sleeping better.
So next time you're making a snack or sitting down for dinner, look at your plate and ask, "Where is the color?" Add colors to your plate and your body and brain will say thank you.
Good news report with Wilfred Walrus. Hello, Earth Cubs. Today, we're zooming across the world to Japan. Let's find out how school lunch works for kids in Japan. Over to our reporter, Shane the Shark.
Konichiwa, Earth Cubs. That means hello in Japanese. Welcome to this school in Saitama, Japan, where food is a big deal. The food is cooked fresh every single morning. The chefs chop up vegetables like carrots and pumpkin, wash the rice, and make yummy soups. And get this, the kids help out, too. They wear little white aprons and hats, and help bring the food to class on rolling trolleys. They even serve each other lunch, just like real chefs.
The meals are super colorful. Rice, vegetables, fish, chicken, miso soup, and some fruit or yogurt for dessert. After eating, the kids help clean up, recycle their milk cartons, and tidy the classroom. They do this every day. That's teamwork and responsibility. It's all about being thankful and learning good manners.
Wowzers trousers. Fresh food, good manners, and everyone working together? Now that's what I call good news. Why not try some of those ideas at home or in your school? Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to try some miso soup.
Squawk, squawk, squawk. Joke time. Squawk. Why did the banana go to the doctor? Because it wasn't peeling very well. What's orange and sounds like a parrot? A carrot. Now, that's tasty. Why did the tomato turn red? Because it saw the salad dressing.
Howdy again, Earth Cubs. We hope you had fun learning all about food today. Remember, eating lots of different colors of fresh food is super good for you, and it looks awesome on your plate. Be bold, be bright, and eat the rainbow. Yee-haw.
