The lifecycle of a product

Everything we use from clothes to toys has a lifecycle.

Can you think about what those stages may be?

Inside a factory
1. Manufacturing. This is often a factory and takes raw materials to turn them into things like clothes and packaging.
2. Using. We play with toys, wear clothes and eat food.
3. Disposing. When we have finished, we often throw things away. This can be bad for the environment.
4. Recycling. Instead of throwing away we can recycle, repair or reuse!

What could you do to help cut down waste?

Let's make a pledge!

What pledge will you make?

"I'm going to shop second hand"

"I'm going to use my refillable water bottle"

"I'm always going to reuse my plastic bags"

Let's protect our AMAZING planet!
