A day in the life of the Parky Pigeons
Michelle Parkes ·
We’re the Parky Pigeons. And welcome to our home - the City of London!

This is the local park where we live. Wait, look a bit closer. What a mess! Can you see all that litter everywhere? Why can’t people put their rubbish in the bin?

Us pigeons may not go to school like you but we are proper clever. Not only can we recognise our beautiful selves in the mirror but we genuinely know the alphabet!
Sometimes fly over to the Tate Modern for a bit of culture. Us pigeons can be taught to recognise different artists. Although we all prefer Banksy. He’s more up our street.
Why not have a go at making your own stencil artwork?

Lorries, buses and cars use a lot of fuel. This makes the air well bad. Pip the pigeon has asthma. This means she has trouble breathing. Her inhaler makes it easier to breathe. Pollution makes asthma worse. Walking or cycling can help reduce air pollution. Let’s make our city cleaner. For all animals and people!
