It's that time of year again. When everyone goes Black Friday crazy. Inundated with 'special' offers. A manic rush to buy as much 'stuff' as possible.
Brands are clever at pulling consumers in, creating a demand for products that you may not even normally consider. There is a huge negative impact on the planet as we over-consume, more plastic toys that can't be recycled, more fast fashion causing environmental issues.
Instead, why not think about supporting local businesses? In this climate they could really do with your support and are often a lot more environmentally friendly! Or even shop second hand, give clothes and toys a second life and help break that Black Friday cycle!
We'd like to do our bit this Green Week and are excited to be offering Double Tree Protection in our app from Monday 21st November to Saturday 26th November.
