Lesson steps

To prepare, download the free Earth Cubs app and explore the New York City environment before class.

Explore real world maps, ask children to find where they live and then New York City.

Explain that New York City is in the United States of America. Ask children to find it, talk about the location. Is it near an ocean? What countries are near to it?
