Recycled Art Competition Winners!

Earth Cubs were delighted to run a Recycled Art Competition with Hackney Eco-Schools. We were looking for creativity with recycled products and wow did we receive some amazing entries! After a lot of deliberating, the team choose the following winners who will have small forests planted in their names as prizes.

The Winner

Congratulations to St. Dominic's Catholic School for their incredible Polly Parrot!

We used plastic bottle tops and a plastic cup.  She is proudly displayed in our reception area. The children loved this project and learned lots of new words like “masterpiece “, “recycling “ and “art”.

2nd Place

Benjamin from Simon Marks Jewish Primary School made this beautiful chandelier as he wants the world to be a brighter place with less plastic cups being used.

3rd Place

Grazebrook Primary School created this beautiful board using everyday materials. The collages were created using recycled materials.
